A versatile element that is both
functional and ornamental. Glass is used in varied ways in Interior Design.

Today we take a sneak peek into the ways
in which Glass can be used to create aesthetic and vibrant spaces.

Clear Glass

Basic type of glass that
is ideal for spaces that require to be well lit.

Toughened or Tempered
Glass
-
Glass that has undergone
thermal processes to increase its strength and hence does not break easily.

Laminated Glass

Tinted Glass
-
Made by adding small
amounts of Metal oxides to colour Glass.

Helps reduce heat
transmission into a space making it energy efficient.

As an embellisher, Tinted
glass is used in Partitions, as Door and Window panes and as a branding element.

Textured Glass
-
Glass with a decorative
pattern embossed on it, this form of glass is both functional and decorative in
nature.

Frosted Glass

Made by Sandblasting or
acid etching clear glass to make it translucent. This finish can also be
achieved by applying a Vinyl film.
